Travertine & Terrazzo Restoration, Repair, Cleaning & Maintenance
With 20+ years of experience, I have developed an exceptionally successful travertine and terrazzo restoration process to enhance its beauty and durability. The Marble Revive team can virtually repair any type of dull and damaged stone. See what our cleaning, polishing, restoration and protection services can do for your travertine and terrazzo
What We Do?
Travertine Holes Filling
During the formation process of travertine, carbon dioxide creates tiny holes throughout the stone. As a result, travertine may come with the natural holes intact or filled. The finish of both varieties – filled and unfilled – can be effectively honed or polished to restore the travertine to its best condition
Travertine Deep Cleaning
Before the start of any restoration or polishing process, the first step is to clean the stone surface. Every natural stone is different and each has a different cleaning procedure. The cleaning process we apply ensures that no acidic cleaners are used in order to avoid etching or dulling the marble surface
Travertine & Terrazzo Repair and Restoration
The compounds used to repair chips and cracks vary greatly depending on the severity, location and type of stone. Our team at Marblrevive will determine the best solution for repairing the Travertine surface and restoring it back to its original beauty.
For cracks and chips in Terrazzo, we use tinted filler with or without aggregates (little pieces of marble or other material) that match your terrazzo, and then hone or polish to smoothen and blend the filled places with the surrounding area. When properly repaired and restored, terrazzo is an incredibly resilient type of flooring.
Travertine Refinishing
If you have a new floor with some tiles that look more glossy than other, refinishing can even out the finish for you. Whether it is a gloss, semi-gloss or matte finish, this process can help deliver a beautifully restored finish
Travertine & Terrazzo Honing
Travertine surfaces show wear patterns, scratches as the stone erodes from dirt, sand, shoes and other contact. The honing process can do the repairing as well as prepare the surface for polish. By the use of abrasive diamond impregnated pads and stones attached to an oscillating tool, the honing process levels out the surface, removes scratches and etches, and leaves a smooth finish ready for the polishing phase
Travertine Grinding
Uneven tiles can become a cleaning nightmare. We can help you grind away the excess stone to create a flat levelled surface using start of the art technology. We can use this same process if travertine surface requires to be more even with the grout lines
Travertine Stain Removal
I can help you get rid of stains and discolorations on your travertine surfaces. At the end of the process, the original finish of the stone will be restored
Travertine & Terrazzo Polishing
Polishing can help you achieve looks that suit your decor. The process uses polishing compounds and liquids to achieve the desired result. The polishing process returns the lustre and shine of the travertine surface and restores it to its original beauty. With the help of appropriate polishing powders, the exact finish can be achieved whether it is matte, semi-gloss or gloss finish that you are looking for
Travertine Tile Replacement
It is rare for a travertine to go beyond repair, but sometimes it does require replacement. Marblerevive can help you remove the affected tile without damaging the neighbouring ones. I shall reinstall the new tile, level it and match the finish as closely as possible
Travertine & Terrazzo Sealing
Stones like travertine are porous and such surfaces are likely to be stained. Sealing the surface is always recommended to the help protect the stone surface from general use damage and staining. Our industrial strength sealants help ensure a quality finish to the stone surface that can last for a long time.
Scheduled Maintenance
Regular cleaning is important for stone surfaces because overtime, it may lead to grout lines, wear patterns and scratches. As
days pass you feel more dissatisfied with the appearance. Our scheduled maintenance options can make the stones look
great all the time, without the need for periodic restoration
